Great news for Williams, Arizona
Our wonderful town now has two beautiful souls who love horses so much that they've opened the R&R Horse Rescue to help the Northern Arizona horses who are in trouble.
That's Jo on the left and Dave on the right.
It may be that some of the owners of these horses have lost their jobs and can no longer afford them, the horses may have been abused and neglected, but they need homes and they need feed, vet & Farrier services and lots of love. Jo & Dave Remender have opened their hearts and their retirement wallets to rescue horses and as you may know first-hand, retirement money doesn't go far these days. They're asking for your help.
Please join us Sunday, July 1, 2012 for BBQ lunch at The Sultana Theater in Williams, Arizona from Noon to 3PM. Admission is free, lunch is nominally priced and we will hold raffles and auctions to help provide the much needed finances for the care of these horses until they can be adopted. Live music will also be provided on the 100-year-old Sultana Theater stage. Family friendly and a wonderful opportunity for you, your family and friends to all come out and have lunch and fun for the horses.
For further information call Dave Remender at (928)202-1378 Also, feel free to ask him how you can volunteer. It will warm your heart and you may just make a few new horse friends.
